At a time when Los Angeles and its waterfront neighborhoods needed a burst of energy and some redirection, We introduced Nalu Vida to the scene. We decided to inject some tropical flare into the region at the end of Washington blvd right next to The Venice Pier. Our goal was to revitalize the local neighborhood and bring a fresh decor to an area that was in desperate need of attention. Our remodel began by introducing island vibes with a Tulum meets Polynesia theme. We utilized vibrant coloring throughout. We had the all the furniture reupholstered with color schemes representative of the targeted tropical regions and we had the entire interior and exterior painted with bright pastels and an aging technique that gave the visitors a sense they were far away in a little beach bungalow by the sea. We also added all new lighting and speaker system to elevate the ambience and enrich the sound. We ripped out an existing fireplace and replaced it with a tropical mural that we hired a local artisan to paint for us. We swapped out the old bar top for a new handmade Walnut top with a gorgeous wainscot that we had custom tile made especially for. After refinishing the flooring and building shelving units in the back areas for storage, we turned out attention the the Kitchen. We upgraded much of the plumbing and introduced new appliances throughout. The result is a gorgeous facility with world class offerings right on the ocean.
